In honor of the Naumes' three core values- Family, Farming and Friends, we have created this ode to the 3 - our “Triolet” blend of Barbera, Malbec and Grenache. Three of our favorite varietals grown in the Rogue Valley and three incredible blenders. On the nose, intriguing bright notes begin with black cherry, blackberry, and violets, accented with notes cured leather, cocoa, with nuances of clove and spice. On the mouth- the Barbera lends the bright black fruitiness with juicy acidity while the Malbec delivers structure, weight, and notes of cassis, violets and blueberry. The Grenache lends in some finesse, balances the intensity and adds more red fruit notes. The combination of these amazing Rogue Valley varietals yields this complex red blend with these great flavors, and a lovely mouthfeel with the juicy acidity of the Barbera, the weight and flavors of the Malbec, with the balancing act of Grenache also lending red fruits and more spice and complexity.
